Moving with sustainability in mind. Not perfection.
Growing up, I wasn’t a sporty individual.
In fact, the older I got the more I avoided physical activity.
I actually had convinced myself I hated it.
By 2010, I reached a turning point.
At over 19 stone, and becoming a UK size 24, I felt stuck in a cycle of poor nutrition and little to no physical activity.
I was unhappy and didn’t know how to help myself.
Fast forward to today, and life looks very different.
I am a busy mum of two, and while I am still regarded as “plus size”, I am the strongest and most capable I have ever been.
My journey isn’t about hitting a goal weight or beating my body into submission.
I don’t subscribe to aggressive gym culture “no pain no gain”
I have learned that sustainability beats perfection.
My Philosophy
I founded Let’s move with Claire because I realised that traditional gym culture can often fail so many of us.
I traded scale victories for strength and mobility and I stopped restrictive dieting and short term weight loss strategies for more consistent long term changes.
There are no quick fixes, just small, consistent changes that add up over time.
I don’t train to punish my body, I train to condition it for the future.
Why I do this?
I am currently qualifying as a Personal Trainer to help people navigate their own path to health and fitness — without the judgment, the noise, or the “Beast Mode” mentality.
Whether you are:
- A total beginner
- Anxious about the gym environment
- Self-conscious
- Neurodivergent
- Not sure where to start
- All of the above
I want to help you find fitness that works for you.
I would love to chat and explore how I can help when I launch in August 2026.
