Let’s Move with Claire is a private personal training studio located in Rosyth, Fife, specialising in beginner and neurodivergent friendly exercise for functional fitness.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it?

Health & Fitness Data (Special Category Data)

When you fill out a waitlist form or a PAR-Q (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire), we collect sensitive information regarding your health, medical history, and physical condition.

Why:

To ensure your safety during training and to design programs specific to your needs.

Comments and contact forms

When visitors leave comments or fill out a form on the site, we collect the data shown in the form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included.

• Note for Clients: We will only ever use your transformation photos or videos on this site if you have signed a separate, explicit Media Consent Form.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on the site you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., YouTube exercise tutorials). Embedded content from other websites behave in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell or trade your data. Your data is only shared with:

• Coaching Software: Encrypted platforms used for your training sessions.
• Payment Processors: Secure third-party systems for processing payments.
• Medical Professionals: Only if you give us explicit permission to coordinate with your GP or Physiotherapist.

How long we retain your data

For insurance and tax purposes, client records (including health forms) are generally retained for 7 years after the conclusion of our coaching relationship. Website comments and metadata are retained indefinitely.

What rights you have over your data

You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you or request that we erase any personal data. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, insurance, or legal purposes.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
